Education
Dr. Sara Bratton is a 2011 graduate of the University of Missouri-Kansas City School of Dentistry. She entered General Practice Residency in 2012 at Louisiana State University Health Sciences Center, but made her way back to the Midwest not long after. She practiced in Raytown and Olathe before opening her own practice as a family dentist in St. Joseph. Dr. Bratton also holds a BS in Biology from Pittsburg State University. In 2005 she participated in a Spanish study-abroad program at University of Salamanca in Spain.
Life Outside the Office
Away from the office, Dr. Bratton and her husband, Michael, are the proud parents of Kaiden, Andrew and Finn, and spend a good deal of time enjoying the kids’ sports. And they all enjoy taking care of their dogs, Charlie and Hannah. The Brattons are active at Wellspring Community Church.
The Bratton family loves Jake’s Steakhouse over on Edmond Street. Dr. Bratton says, “We love their menu, especially brunch, and love the atmosphere and the ability to watch games.” Dr. Bratton also enjoys CrossFit, tennis, and yoga, and is a member of the St. Joseph Chamber of Commerce.

Dr. Bratton is phenomenal! I first started seeing her as my dentist and we started to talk about my discomfort with my jaw. I have had bad experiences at the dentist throughout my life and because of this I neglected my teeth for a long time. About a year ago I gave dr bratton a shot after someone recommended her. She has done root canals, fillings, extractions on me you name it. I no longer have a fear of the dentist. She makes sure you’re 100% comfortable. It is always a good experience going to that office and dealing with any of them.
